NEW offers energy efficiency solutions to small businesses and nonprofits as well as turnkey solutions for building electrification (heat pumps), renewables, and electric vehicle charger stations.

NEW can identify equipment and operational inefficiencies and develop a solution that will save energy and lower your bottom line.
Process: Detailing a holistic approach to your immediate and future needs, NEW will provide energy and sustainability assessments, turnkey installation, and monitoring service to effectively and efficiently reduce the owner's burden on the cost of new equipment and services by utilizing a combination of NYS utility incentive and rebate programs.

NYSERDA Green Jobs Green New York Program
Is your business or non-profit unsure of what projects to implement. Perhaps you already know what your issues are, but contractor quotes are confusing and varied.
Energy assessments provide a third party, unbiased approach to evaluating each project, or measure to reduce your electric and gas/fuel bills. Eligible customers (see program rules here) can receive a NYSERDA cost shared study that provides:
- Utility bill and proposal triage
- Site walk through and owner/staff interviews
- A detailed report with narratives on the existing equipment inventory and savings strategies including:
- Envelope, Lighting, HVAC, and Domestic Hot Water
- Energy Efficiency Measures
- Building Electrification Measures (Air/Ground Source Heat Pumps, Heat Pump Water Heaters)

We will use our network or work with your preferred vendors to provide:
- Apples to apples quotes/proposals in a timely and efficient manner
- an effective solution for your current and future needs. Not what is best for the provider.
- Incentive and rebate opportunities as well as tax credits.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
With new laws set in place to drastically increase adoption, building owners will have to adapt in order to continue to receive customers and retain employees.
Whether you intend to install chargers to monetize the electricity, or to use them as a marketing expense, there are many factors that need to be decided prior to implementation. Not all chargers are equal regarding brand or capacity. Your existing electrical infrastructure will need upgrading, and charging will impact your utility bills.

Solar Partnerships
We have a network of Solar PV partner firms who will work with you to expedite the process.
Typically, solar firms take a snapshot of your energy use, and do not have the ability to plan for future use after implementing energy efficiency measures and building electrification measures. NEW will help them size the project correctly.
Geothermal Solutions
Geothermal Heat Pumps are the most efficient technologies available for simultaneously removing fossil fuels from your building, and lowering your electric bills. Geothermal bore fields, while expensive compared to other technologies can increase your building value. With new Federal tax credits, and utility rebate programs, geothermal is an option for high capital customers who want to make the biggest impact. NEW will study the opportunities to save energy and help with the design and implementation with our partners.
QA/QC & M&V Services
Quality Assurance and Quality Control; Measurement & Verification
NEW offers program support for utilities and State entities (NYSERDA). Each energy efficiency study, incentive, or rebate program needs to be developed, funded, and implemented. NEW works as a third party to evaluate these program offerings to help identify project quality and appropriateness, as well as savings reconciliation to ensure that funds have been provided in an effective and efficient manner. Services offered include:

Can you trust your own data? NEW staff are certified M&V professionals, who can evaluate savings using the concepts in the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP). Complicated building measurement systems and controls contracts often provide services that customers do not need and cannot use effectively. They are built in the design stage, and are ineffective for performance. NEW partners with Arayna Technologies to create top-notch modern solutions in data centers and smart buildings directly for energy management teams.
